Corporate Accounting Manager with NetSuite Experience
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid Role)
Compensation: $120,000 - $135,000 plus a 10% bonus
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Corporate Accounting Manager to join our team. This role is crucial as we migrate from Great Plains to NetSuite, and the successful candidate will act as the NetSuite Administrator. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays and in-office presence from Tuesday to Thursday. The company operates multiple entities, providing a dynamic and complex work environment. The position focuses on accurate expense allocation, ensuring expenses are properly charged to the various entities. The Corporate Accounting Manager reports directly to the Director of Corporate Accounting and has no direct reports.
Responsibilities:
NetSuite Administration:
- Act as the NetSuite Administrator, managing system configuration, maintenance, and optimization.
Expense Allocation:
- Ensure accurate expense allocation and charging to various entities.
Revenue Recording and Reconciliation:
- Accurately record various revenue streams.
- Manage billing processes and conduct account reconciliations.
Intercompany Billing:
- Oversee intercompany billing of receivables.
- Track outstanding balances and perform reconciliations.
Accounts Payable Support:
- Provide support for the accounts payable function for selected business lines.
Close Process Management:
- Manage the monthly and quarterly close process for company subsidiaries.
- Oversee related reporting activities.
Audit Assistance:
- Assist in the annual financial statement audit of the parent company.
- Draft process narratives as required.
ERP Implementation and Administration:
- Play a key role in ERP implementation and post-implementation activities.
- Maintain the chart of accounts and generate reports.
Data Monitoring and Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze accounting data.
- Perform reconciliations for selected business units.
Process Improvement:
- Assess current accounting practices and procedures.
- Recommend and implement improvements.
Ad Hoc Reporting:
- Create ad hoc reports as requested.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA certification is a plus but not required.
Experience:
- 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Emphasis on operating efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
- A base in public accounting is highly preferred; additional experience in private industry is a plus.
Knowledge:
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with advanced accounting software such as Great Plains and NetSuite.
- Strong desire to leverage automation and advanced technology in accounting practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to work effectively with systems, technology, and people.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
