Position Overview:
The Tax Director (Construction) will lead complex tax engagements, support strategic planning efforts, oversee compliance, and mentor tax professionals across a broad client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve complex federal and state tax returns.
- Lead tax research, planning initiatives, and technical guidance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for internal teams and clients.
- Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff.
- Manage client relationships and collaborate with audit teams on large engagements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Active CPA license required.
- 8+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
- Strong technical tax expertise, especially in construction and related industries.
- Demonstrated leadership and staff development experience.
