Project Accountant

Our growing client has an immediate need for a Project Accountant with construction industry or installation experience.

Duties:
  • Manage all accounting related functions for assigned projects.
  • Assist project teams with any questions or needs related to the accounting department.
  • Manage invoices, payments, and compliance for assigned projects.
  • Have an understanding of compliance requirements for assigned projects (Pay apps, lien waivers, prevailing wages, certified payroll, etc.)
  • Process vendor invoices accurately and within assigned timeline.
  • Process sub-contractor payments accurately and within assigned timeline.
  • Collect and track compliance documents.
  • Generate reports including Payroll, A/R, Contract Status, and Job Cost.
  • Owner billings
  • Job cost reports
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Three or more years of project accounting experience in a construction related industry
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • NetSuite a plus

Our client offers a salary up to $80k plus excellent benefits and a chance to work Hybrid once this person is up to speed and has proven they can do the work.
