Who: We are seeking a Steuerberater with at least 3 years of tax experience, strong German and English communication skills, and a passion for working with international, fast-growing clients.
What: You will independently prepare tax returns and technical memos, advise clients on international tax matters, collaborate with audit teams, and support cross-border transactions for German-owned U.S. companies.
When: This is a full-time position available for immediate hire.
Where:Based in our confidential client’s U.S. offices, with headquarters in Atlanta, GA and additional locations nationwide.

Position Overview:
The German Tax Consultant (Steuerberater) will work closely with German-speaking clients operating in the U.S., independently manage tax engagements, prepare technical opinions, support international structuring, and collaborate with audit professionals on cross-disciplinary client matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently prepare tax returns and technical statements.
- Advise clients on international tax planning and cross-border structuring.
- Work closely with partners on challenging, high-impact client projects.
- Support German-owned U.S. clients across a wide range of industries.
- Prepare tax memos, opinions, and related documentation.
- Collaborate with audit teams on interdisciplinary engagements.
- Gain exposure to audit topics and provide integrated client service.
- Utilize unlimited training resources to advance technical expertise.
- Receive support to pursue the U.S. CPA designation.
Qualifications:
- Completed degree in business, economics, or a related field.
- Successfully passed the German Steuerberater exam.
- Minimum of 3 years of tax experience.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative.
- High level of enthusiasm, teamwork, and responsibility.
- Strong interest in supporting international middle-market and entrepreneurial clients.
