Job purpose
The Supply Chain Project Engineer is a highly visible role responsible for overseeing the implementation of projects crucial to achieving companywide production and shipping targets. These projects involve the implementation of cost-saving solutions in shipping, returnable crates, one-way crates, and process flows. The Supply Chain Project Engineer will play a central role in identifying and leading these projects with the support of senior-level leaders.
Duties and responsibilities

  • Apply Lean Six Sigma principles and lead improvement projects.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively with teams of diverse skills.
  • Build trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Develop manufacturing work instructions to clearly define processes.
  • Manage the quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware throughout the entire manufacturing process.
  • Perform root cause analysis and deploy corrective actions.
  • Design proper material handling and packaging to protect hardware in different transportation environments.
  • Help identify and visualize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Project Management.
  • Excellent time management skills – ability to prioritize and juggle competing tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and/or Google (Sheets, Docs, Slides).

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Problem solving and analytical ability to determine optimal solutions.
  • Strong presentation skills – ability to present clearly and concisely to senior leaders.
  • Team-oriented mindset with effective communication skills across all levels of the company.
  • Personal sense of accountability and ownership of tasks.

Working conditions
Ability to work in extreme heat and cold. Ability to work in a loud environment.
Physical requirements
Ability to stand/ be on your feet for long periods of time and walk throughout the shop floor. Ability to sit at a desk. Ability to use hands/ fingers. Ability to reach with arms. Ability to operate power and hand held tools.

Pay: From $68,000.00 per year
