Who: We are seeking a detail-oriented tax professional with 3–5 years of federal and state income tax experience, ideally within public accounting and the manufacturing/distribution industry.

What: You will review and prepare tax returns, perform ASC 740 provisions, conduct technical tax research, manage multiple engagements, and serve as a key client contact for international inbound businesses.

Position Overview:
The Experienced Senior Tax Associate will lead the review and preparation of corporate and partnership tax returns, support ASC 740 work, respond to client inquiries, and provide guidance to junior staff while serving foreign-owned U.S. subsidiaries across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review (80%) and prepare (20%) Federal and state corporate and partnership tax returns.
- Assist with preparing and reviewing income tax provisions under ASC 740.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, handling notices and tax-related inquiries.
- Manage multiple engagements concurrently with accuracy and high-quality standards.
- Conduct technical tax research on Federal, state, and international issues.
- Stay current on tax law changes and perform detailed tax analysis.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to staff and interns.

Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in federal and state income tax, including public accounting.
- BA/BS in Accounting or Master’s in Accounting/Taxation.
- Experience with manufacturing and distribution clients.
- CCH Axcess tax experience.
- Excellent English communication, writing, and research skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and process-oriented mindset.
- Effective multitasking, organization, responsibility, and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong corporate tax compliance and tax provision background.
- CPA license or similar certification.
- ProSystem fx Engagement experience.
