Position Overview:
The VP of Operations – Manufacturing & Logistics is accountable for optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations, with a strong focus on logistics performance and the use of data analytics to drive continuous improvement, cost efficiency, and scalability.
● Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics operations across multiple facilities or regions.
- Build and lead an operations strategy rooted in supply chain excellence and predictive analytics.
- Leverage data tools to optimize route planning, warehouse throughput, inventory turnover, and demand forecasting.
- Identify and act on logistics inefficiencies using dashboards, KPIs, and scenario-based modeling.
- Partner with senior leadership to ensure operations align with company growth and profitability targets.
- Lead cross-functional teams and instill a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and data transparency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards while driving lean process adoption.
● Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or related field.
- 10+ years of leadership experience in operations with a strong logistics and supply chain focus.
- Demonstrated expertise in data analytics and decision-support tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel).
- Proven track record of reducing logistics costs and improving service levels through analytics-driven strategies.
- Knowledge of lean methodologies, Six Sigma, or equivalent continuous improvement frameworks.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional team management skills.
