Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) with a specialization in Orthopedics and fluency in Korean to join our orthopedic practice in Atlanta, GA. As an integral member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population, helping to diagnose, treat, and manage orthopedic injuries and conditions. Your bilingual skills will be key in delivering clear communication and patient education to both Korean- and English-speaking patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions and injuries.
- Assist in orthopedic surgical procedures and provide pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Perform physical examinations, order diagnostic tests (e.g., X-rays, MRIs), and develop treatment plans.
- Administer injections, set fractures, and apply casts, splints, and braces as needed.
- Provide patient education and explain treatment plans in both Korean and English.
- Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Conduct follow-up assessments, monitor recovery, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Georgia.
- Experience in Orthopedics required, including surgical assistance, diagnostics, and patient management.
- Fluency in Korean and English (spoken and written) is required.
- Strong clinical skills in administering injections, fracture management, and orthopedic care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in cross-cultural environments.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
