Position Overview:
The Tax Senior will support a broad client base across multiple industries and play a key role in the continued growth of the tax practice while enjoying long-term career advancement without the need to relocate.
Key Responsibilities:
● Review federal and multi-state tax returns, with an emphasis on flow-through entities.
● Conduct tax research using online tools.
● Perform general accounting tasks as needed on engagements.
● Train, mentor, and develop Staff Accountants.
● Communicate proactively with managers, leadership, and clients.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s preferred.
● CPA certification or active pursuit of licensure.
● 3+ years of public accounting experience.
● Proven review experience.
● Strong computer proficiency; experience with ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, or Engagement is a plus.
● Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
