HR Generalist with UKG Experience

Position Title: HR Generalist

Location: Atlanta, GA

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: HR Manager/Director

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Generalist with expertise in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) systems to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of HR tasks, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HRIS management. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational and communication skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
    • Conduct new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
  2. Employee Relations:

    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support on HR policies and procedures.
    • Address and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
  3. Benefits Administration:

    • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
    • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and provide information on plan options and changes.
  4. Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Prepare and maintain HR reports, records, and documentation as required.
  5. HRIS Management:

    • Maintain and update employee records in the UKG system.
    • Generate reports and analyze data from the UKG system to support HR initiatives and decision-making.
  6. Performance Management:

    • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes and programs.
    • Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on performance evaluation and improvement plans.
  7. Training and Development:

    • Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development programs.
    • Identify training needs and collaborate with department managers to address skill gaps.
  8. HR Projects and Initiatives:

    • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance the overall employee experience and improve HR processes.
    • Support the implementation of HR programs and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, with specific experience using UKG systems.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in using UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) software for HR management.
    • Strong knowledge of HRIS systems and data management.
    • Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
    • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
