Position Title: HR Generalist
Location: Atlanta, GA
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: HR Manager/Director
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Generalist with expertise in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) systems to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of HR tasks, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HRIS management. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational and communication skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Conduct new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support on HR policies and procedures.
- Address and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and provide information on plan options and changes.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports, records, and documentation as required.
HRIS Management:
- Maintain and update employee records in the UKG system.
- Generate reports and analyze data from the UKG system to support HR initiatives and decision-making.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes and programs.
- Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on performance evaluation and improvement plans.
Training and Development:
- Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development programs.
- Identify training needs and collaborate with department managers to address skill gaps.
HR Projects and Initiatives:
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance the overall employee experience and improve HR processes.
- Support the implementation of HR programs and policies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, with specific experience using UKG systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) software for HR management.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS systems and data management.
- Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
