Shipping and Receiving Specialist
Location: Norcross, GA
Salary: $20-$25/hr, depending on experience and qualifications (with a potential increase after a 3-month probationary period)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our dynamic team in Norcross, GA. This role is more than just handling shipping and receiving; it requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple aspects of our logistics operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Prepare and process outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
- Maintain organized records of all shipping and receiving transactions.
- Manage inventory levels by performing regular stock checks and updating inventory systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any shipping or receiving issues.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment as necessary to move and store products safely.
- Monitor and report on inventory discrepancies or potential supply chain issues.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and company protocols.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including packing, labeling, and staging orders.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in logistics is a plus.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred).
- Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
