Controller

We’re seeking an experienced Controller to join the leadership of a Private Equity-backed company in the Healthcare industry. This is a high-impact, fully in-office role reporting directly to the CFO, offering significant leadership, growth, and equity participation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations: General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and financial reporting
• Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end close and internal/external reporting
• Establish and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls in a high-growth environment
• Support post-merger integration efforts for newly acquired businesses
• Partner with the CFO on strategic planning and financial initiatives
• Coordinate and manage annual audit processes with external auditors
• Optimize and leverage large-scale ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP) for automation, reporting, and data integrity
• Support equity partner requirements for reporting and compliance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• CPA or parts passed is highly preferred
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Experience in private equity-backed or acquisitive businesses highly valued
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance
• Demonstrated success with post-merger integration and change management
• Expertise in large ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or SAP
