Position Overview:
As Chief Legal Officer, you will be the senior-most legal authority, responsible for overseeing all legal matters, ensuring regulatory compliance, and serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership.
● Key Responsibilities:
- Lead corporate legal strategy and provide counsel on all legal and compliance issues.
- Oversee regulatory matters, including FDA compliance and risk mitigation.
- Manage internal legal operations and external counsel relationships.
- Advise on M&A, corporate governance, IP protection, and commercial contracts.
- Implement best practices to align legal strategy with overall business goals.
- Ensure the company’s legal posture is proactive, defensible, and adaptable.
● Qualifications:
- JD (Juris Doctor) and active bar membership required.
- 20+ years of progressive legal experience, including leadership roles in the life sciences industry.
- Deep expertise in FDA regulations, corporate governance, and commercial transactions.
- Demonstrated success influencing executive teams and guiding legal strategy.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities.
