Job Summary / Description:

The SAP S/4HANA FICO Lead serves as a technical authority within IT, leading configuration, testing, deployment, and optimization of SAP Finance and Controlling modules. This role ensures compliance with regulatory frameworks (including SOX), manages integrations with third-party systems, and drives strategic enterprise-wide technology initiatives. The position partners cross-functionally with Finance, Supply Chain, R&D, Marketing, and executive leadership to design scalable, compliant, and innovative financial systems solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling modules.

• Design and optimize SAP FICO processes aligned with regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX compliance).

• Manage integrations between SAP S/4HANA and third-party applications.

• Serve as subject matter expert for complex financial systems and compliance controls.

• Develop documentation for configuration, testing, compliance, and integration processes.

• Troubleshoot complex SAP FICO and integration issues.

• Lead cross-functional development teams and mentor technical staff.

• Oversee unit testing strategy and execution.

• Provide executive-level recommendations based on cross-functional analysis.

• Drive innovation in enterprise infrastructure and software architecture.

• Apply global maintenance and support expertise across technology areas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Finance background strongly preferred.

• Minimum 12 years of related experience.

• 10+ years of SAP FICO configuration, testing, and support experience.

• Experience with global SAP deployments.

• Proven expertise in compliance management (audit controls, regulatory reporting).

• Strong integration experience with SAP S/4HANA and third-party systems.

• Strong leadership, communication, and executive influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Solution Manager and SAP DRC experience.

• SAP Fiori and cloud solutions familiarity.

• SAP FICO or S/4HANA certification.

• Agile methodology experience.

• Advanced knowledge of software development and testing methodologies.

• Strong business analysis capabilities.
