Senior Cost Accountant - South Atlanta

Our client, a strong stable company has an immediate need for a Senior Cost Accountant. This is a permanent opportunity with excellent benefits and a generous PTO program.

Salary: Up to $85k plus excellent benefits and a generous PTO program.

Duties:

You will assist with month-end close
Costing of labor, materials, and shipping.
You will be responsible for Bank & Treasury Activity (Making wire payments, clearing checks, bank reconciliations, etc.)
You will be the primary contact for A/P-related activities: invoice entry, questions from vendors, etc.)
You will oversee A/R Clerk by providing support on heavy cash collection days and directional support when questions arise.

Requirements:

BA Degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of experience
Experience working in a high-volume setting (many vendors, many customers)
Cost accounting experience required
QuickBooks is a plus but not required
