Estimator

Our client, a Construction Sub Contractor has an immediate need for an Estimator in their Roswell, GA location.

Estimator Duties Include:

• Works directly for the Estimating Manager and with the regional Project Management teams within the New Construction division.
• Focus on new construction and interior build-out for large commercial, multi-family, mixed-used, and high-rise general contractors.
• Assist the new construction teams in the preparation of bids via take-offs and estimating utilizing RFMS Measure software and inputting the data into Excel.
• The secondary function is to help locate and quantify changes to active projects per requests from general contractors and architects.
• The position is in the office most of the time with occasional site visits.

Requirements:

• Strong ability to read and interpret project drawings, scopes and specifications.
• Strong spatial reasoning skills.
• Ability to perform detailed and accurate material take-offs.
• High level problem solving skills along with the ability to locate potential problems and prepare and present multiple options and solutions to address these problems.
• Excellent organization and time management skills are essential.
• Ability to learn the company’s measuring software.
